Tuesday-field trip to east Perth

the building is called Maron can you see the shape of the words informing the building's shape? The 'O' and 'N' are besides itThe architects name is Aston Raggart McDougal.
He once did this sculpture which was called a knot or something
and there was this building which was pretty much a a block with a knot shape cut to make out the interior space. The idea was to tie all the different narratives of Australian history which is not one straight narratives, but pieces of different stories and perspectives in one. Like Aboriginal stories and migrant experiences etc. He's an interesting theorist but his buildings...they're ugly.

Its more interesting on the outside. Meghan drove me and Chandini here with guidance from her phone's GPS.

Meghan and Rob
Chandini
Heath
So we left this place and decided to have lunch at this fish and chips shop after Meghan dropped Chandini off.
We walked in the rain in Broadway only to find it was closed. So we went to the uni's tav promising ourselves to leave at 2 for a lecture. Good thing it was recorded.
See this guy sitting closest to the stairs? He claimed to be doing a study for his PhD on beer. We suspected he may have just been a psycology student instead.
(His english was kinda bad. One of the questions was: Does it make your friends easier? Rob:*grins* hell yeah!
i think he meant to ask whether having a beer made people more easy going in general)
We got free beer out of it anyway. Heath laughed at my expression while trying it out. it was crap so Meghan called some friends to join us.
One of them had some morbid stories to tell about medical students. Something about them developing a really sick sense of humour once they start operating on dead bodies. Like this guy who just popped his head out of the window(his own, phew) and asking the gardener wheter he needed a hand. So he gave him one. (Not his own, he tossed it out into the garden)
Aparently one of the first thing your lab instructor asks your class
Teacha:So, anyone here wear contacts?
*half the girls in class raise hands*
Teacha: You might like to wear glasses next time cos if we just happen to let out too much Dolo-(something) gas near your eyes your contacts it would fuse with your eyeballs.
*casually moves on to the next topic leaving half the girls with mouths hanging open*
Another weird thing med students find pretty disturbing is after their first surgery on the dead bodies: wow i'm such a bastard. why do i feel hungry? (its really that same gas. for some weird reason it triggers your appetite)
Some of the stuff you hear about makes you wonder how you can trust doctors. In fact, how do doctors trust other doctors? Especially when they've been to the same uni.
Dr. House:*commenting on a dead body which has been donated for research which has a disease in it* So how do you purpose we cure it?
his lackey:what, death?
Dr. House:yes!muahahaha! XD
anyway i left there at 4. That night i decided to go to campus for some much needed privacy.
This is a classic blur moment. i left the headlights on the car so the battery went dead. Yesterday i called RAC to charge it. the lady didnt know her directions very well but at least the guy who helped out was nice

its a cross between an orange and purple rose. Depending on the intensity of the sunlight it can be this colour or almost copper. Sometimes purplish tints appear on the outer edges of the petals.
